1. IGT Semi-Submerged Gas Meter Box: Designed for G4/U6 meters or regulator assemblies. Approved by major utility bodies including British Gas Connections, Sensus Metering, and Krom Schroeder. Measures 460mm high x 450mm wide x 400mm deep.
2. Universal Smart Gas Meter Box: Fully compliant replacement gas meter box UK standard option for all meter types, including prepay and smart. 500mm high x 474mm wide x 303mm deep, built to B.S. 8499:2009.

 

3. Recessed Gas Meter Boxes

The UK Standard Mark 2 Recessed Gas Meter Box is perfect for replacement installs where a cavity box is needed. 595mm high x 409mm wide x 214mm deep, it suits all meter types — including smart — and complies with BS 8499:2009.

If you only need a replacement gas meter door, cover or lid, we stock durable GRP gas meter box doors and lids in a range of sizes. These are fully watertight, corrosion-resistant and can be painted or cleaned easily.

Meter Box Door and Frame Sets

We also supply complete door and frame sets for the Mark 2 Surface Mounted Gas Box (503 x 407mm). Installing a new replacement gas meter enclosure is easy:

1. Remove the damaged lid and frame
2. Slot the new frame and door over the box lip.
3. Secure it at the back with fixing studs.
