Temporary builders supply Kiosk
A temporary builders' supply kiosk or enclosure is a common fixture in the construction industry, providing housing for switchgears, meters, and incoming feeds. These kiosks are particularly useful when setting up new building sites or providing temporary power supply to builders.
Made from Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP), these kiosks are designed to accommodate temporary supply switchgears, meters, and incoming feeds. They can also be used to house any external commercial switchgear.
By utilizing a temporary builders' supply kiosk or enclosure, construction companies can ensure a safe and reliable power supply to their sites, minimizing the risk of downtime and delays.

Examples of usage:
Ideal for electricity supply to large building sites.
As a housing developer sets an office up on a building site, he will need an electrical supply. To do so, the requirements are fairly simple:
1. Lay a concrete base
2. Buy a kiosk
3. Ask the power supply company to come and put an electrical feed in the kiosk with the relevant meter and switchgear and feed it into the office portacabin for power.
4. Once the site is completed, the portacabin can be disconnected and removed. The GRP kiosk can be taken away at the same time onto another building site. Our GRP enclosures are perfect for the electricity supply to building sites.
Suitable for garage forecourt
Another example of usage is in a garage forecourt with a car wash facility. The owner can put all electrical car wash facility switchgears hidden, safe, in the kiosk, and away from the public.
Although our GRP kiosks are mainly for commercial use such as on building sites, farms, campsites, they can also be used in domestic settings too. They are suitable for any external applications offering housing for anything that requires metering and relevant switchgear for outside settings.
Most of the time, used as a temporary solution, the kiosks can also be permanent (such as for wastewater treatment plants).
For convenience, MeterBoxesDirect also offers a range of pedestals or plinths for the kiosks.
